Allt du behöver för att installera kameran och lägga till den i ditt lokala nätverk ingår i paketet. Anslut helt enkelt kameran till din router via LAN-kabel eller Wi-Fi. När anslutningen är upprättad kan du använda din smartphone eller dator för att konfigurera din kamera enligt dina behov. Alla INSTAR-kameror kan användas inom ditt nätverk utan internetanslutning. Endast om du vill komma åt kameran utifrån ditt nätverk behöver du en router med internetanslutning - inga extra obligatoriska avgifter eller prenumerationer krävs för att använda INSTAR-kameror.

Nej, alla INSTAR 2K+ modeller erbjuder möjligheten att visa live-videon som en HTML5-videostream. Du behöver inget extra webbläsarplugin för att visa videon. HTML5-videon kan också överföras krypterad via HTTPS inklusive ljud. Som alternativ kan videon också fångas via en MJPEG- eller JPEG-ström.

INSTAR-kameror har ingen obligatorisk prenumerationstjänst som skulle medföra extra kostnader. INSTAR erbjuder dock valfri PC-programvara (InstarVision 2 för Windows och MacOS) och molnlagringsplaner (INSTAR Cloud) för expansionsbehov.
